I will maybe use slow, sad piano music at the start of my trailer to set the depressing and lonely mood, and either have a short, silent pause at about thirty seconds then continue with more upbeat music or graduate into it. The tempo will increase throughout the trailer, building up to the title shown at the end. I will get the music from copyright free websites such as incompetech.com, which I used last year while making my opening two minutes and found very helpful. It is difficult finding music that will appeal to my target audience as they are interested in contemporary music that has appeared in the charts.
